The hotel had comfortable rooms but lacked proper restocking by housekeeping and service during our stay. Unfortunately, there were no bath towels provided. The staff was a mix of incredibly rude individuals and genuinely friendly and helpful ones. The location was okay but exposed us to some rundown sections of Charleston. The dining experience was not up to par, although it was included in our price.

6.0/10
My stay at the hotel was just right—it had its perks like a great location and friendly staff, but also some drawbacks like the hot rooms throughout most of the trip. The proximity to King Street was excellent for exploring Charleston, but the not-so-friendly service was a downside that stood out.
Rooms
7.0
The room was large, but we would have appreciated more living and sleeping space and less space for the dining table and kitchenette. It was miserably hot for most of my trip, to my surprise.
Service
5.0
The service wasn't really helpful or responsive, which was a letdown. However, the valet service for $30 per night plus tipping was convenient, though room service and housekeeping could have been more accommodating.
Location
8.0
The location was great—plenty of meal options and shopping within walking distance, and a block away from restaurant row on King Street. However, being close to King Street also meant noise from the busy area, which could be bothersome.
Dining
6.0
Dining was good, especially when they finally acknowledged our presence. I even appreciated the special small pancakes made for my 7-year-old son by one of the cooks. The breakfast had fresh salads that were enjoyable.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were adequate, offering essential services like laundry and valet parking. However, the lack of friendliness from the staff impacted the overall experience of using these facilities.
